One person who has truly helped me grow and excel in my life is my mentor and friend, Wafa. When I was new to the city, Wafa immediately made me feel welcome, treating me like family. She not only recognized my passion for helping others but also saw potential in me that I hadn’t yet realized.
Wafa pushed me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to various organizations where I could make a difference. But she didn’t stop there—she inspired and empowered me to step into leadership roles, guiding me every step of the way. Even as I grew into those roles, Wafa remained a constant source of encouragement and mentorship, always helping me strive for more and walk my path to success.
Thanks to her, I’ve gained invaluable life lessons and experiences that have shaped me, and I’ll carry them with me throughout my life and career as a husband and a law enforcement officer.
